IT’S GO TIME!

Enough talk. Enough build-up. Enough waiting. It’s go-time.

After months of grinding, tweaking, and gearing up for the next level, Helluvachevy is making his move. Chevy isn’t rolling into Bakersfield to be overlooked—he’s here to carve out his place in one of the toughest racing environments on the planet and a chance to prove that the next generation of racers isn’t here to sit back and watch.

When the lights drop On May 9-10, at the legendary Famoso Dragway in Bakersfield, California, everything changes. Chevy and his 4000+ horsepower Chevelle, YETI, are stepping into one of the toughest racing environments in the world. The competition is stacked with experience, but Chevy brings relentless drive and a hunger to prove himself.

Built for Chaos, Engineered for Glory

Every legendary racer has a defining car—an extension of their ambition, their aggression, their hunger for victory. The YETI is that machine! The 1970 Chevelle, dubbed YETI, isn’t built for show (or snow)—it’s built to perform. Cameron Johnson Race Cars constructed this beast with one purpose: winning. Originally meant for Jerry Monza, the car never got its moment under his name. Now, under the control of Chevy Reeves, the beast is finally being unleashed. With 4000+ horsepower ready to launch off the line, the YETI is stepping onto the track for the first time in the Outlaws circuit, and every competitor should take notice.

A Canadian Racing Against the Odds

You don’t see many Canadians in the Outlaws circuit—and there’s a reason for that. Racing in Canada is a different beast. Limited track time, brutal conditions, and a short season that barely stretches from May to October. While most Outlaws racers have spent years fine-tuning their skills with unlimited access to tracks, Chevy has had to make every lap, every pass, and every lesson count.

But being at a disadvantage has its upsides—it makes you relentless. It forces you to learn fast and adapt faster. When Chevy grew up racing at one of Canada’s most respected motorsports facilities, built and run by his family, his life revolved around speed. And when the Reeves family sold the track to chase the professional circuit full-time, there was no plan B.

“This upcoming weekend marks the first official Outlaws race for YETI,” says Chevy Reeves. “We’re here—not just to compete, but to set the foundation for something bigger, something unstoppable.”

This isn’t just about running fast—it’s about carving out a name, proving something, and putting in the groundwork for long-term success.

A Collective Effort, Fueled by Passion

Chevy’s not showing up alone—this is an entire movement. The Reeves Performance team, backed by incredible partners, dedicated crew, and family—has spent months grinding behind the scenes, turning ambition into reality.

We know there’s a lot to learn. We’re stepping into this with clear eyes and an all-in mindset. But one thing is certain—we’re here to make the fans feel it, to bring energy to the motorsports community, and to make damn sure Canada is represented in the Outlaws scene.
