The YETI will be proudly on display at the Evolve Wheels & Tires booth, the latest performance partner of the Reeves Performance NPK adventure. Aaron Day, the owner of Evolve Wheels & Tires and a long-time drift enthusiast, is thrilled to enter the world of 200MPH 1/8 mile drag racing with the Evolve name emblazoned on the YETI. Talk about a leap from drifting to burning rubber on the drag strip! Aaron and his team are ready to show you what it means to push the limits of performance and innovation.
The Speedway Market is the brainchild of long-time friend and drag racer Casey Plazier. Casey comes from a family of drag enthusiasts with a deep-rooted passion for all things motorsports. Casey felt there was a huge gap in the industry and community, in 2024 the Speedway Market was created. When we asked Casey why he started the show, he replied, “I wanted a place where motorsport enthusiasts could come together—all kinds of racers, fans, sponsors, and friends have a place to gather, show off their toys in the off-season, and get excited about the upcoming summer.” Classic Casey, always thinking about the community.
Following a tremendous first year success, the plan to continue was a no-brainer. The doors for the 2nd Annual Speedway Market opens TODAY February, 8 @9 AM at the Heritage Park Pavilion in Stony Plain and will stay open until 5 PM. So come by, check out all things adrenaline, and behold the 1970 Chevelle YETI in all its glory. The car has been hibernating since it landed in Alberta last fall. With only a few days of testing before the local track was closed for the winter season, the YETI seems as mythological as its beastly namesake. But fear not, fellow speed freaks, the Speedway Market is the first public appearance for the car, and we couldn’t ask for a better place to show her off.
Drop by the Evolve booth to meet Helluvachevy and the “Beast,” and be the first to hear about what’s in the plans for the upcoming NPK Season. And of course, be the first to grab the latest merch.
